Let It Be Done
So, what have you decided? Is it time to go and speak with your church leader about getting baptized? Maybe over the last four days, you have felt the nudging of the Holy Spirit confirming what you may have already decided in your heart.
It's time to be baptized!
Baptism is a holy moment in the life of every Christian where God signs and seals our new life in Christ. Charles Spurgeon stated that "it was the Spirit of God that marked in baptism the starting point of Christ's ministry". Baptism is your opportunity to deepen your relationship with God your father, through Jesus your Savior, and to be led by the Holy Spirit into new dimensions that God has planned for you.
Baptism allows you to refocus yourself knowing that your old life has ceased and your new life has begun. As Jesus took time to do this simple act so I encourage you to step into a new season full of potential as you identify with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection living life as God has called and purposed for you.
There is one body, one Spirit, one call, one Lord, one baptism, one God. What awaits you on the other side of baptism?
