You Are God's Fieldنموونە

The seed that fell on good soil
Hearing about three types of soil that do not yield any grain, we might wonder whether God’s Word will bear fruit at all! Yes, it does — and it does so abundantly! There are many people who hear the word, understand it, and are transformed by it. As God said in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
In the book of Revelation, the apostle John describes a glimpse of heaven. He sees “a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages” standing before God’s throne and singing him praises (Revelation 7:9). These are all people who have heard the Gospel and have taken it to heart. The good news about God’s Kingdom has borne fruit in the “soil” of their souls. They turned from serving idols or from trying to earn salvation by themselves, to “serve the living and true God”.
Has God’s Word borne fruit in your heart?

In several parables, Jesus compares the Kingdom of God to a field where a man sows seed. This reading plan seeks to discover which spiritual lessons we can learn from Jesus’ parables and from other Bible verses about seeds and sowing. Thanks to Gospel Images for the beautiful image.
