HELPLESS

Helplessness is a not a quality we like to glorify. We like to display to the world that we are in control. 

We are familiar with this statement: God helps those who help themselves. 

This statement was popularized in a generation that was becoming lazy. We can’t be lying in bed and expecting God to help us. 

But in 2021, we have gone to the other extreme where we feel we can manage our lives without God’s help. 

Today we really need to believe that God helps those who can’t help themselves. 

Psalm 6:2: “Have compassion on me, Lord, for I am weak."

I need God in all things. 

At all times. 

Without God I will mess up my life.
