There's Hope For Todayنموونە

Sometimes you just have to hold on. Don’t try to fix it. Don’t launch a new plan. Don’t give in. Don’t lose hope – just hold on. Sometimes we exhaust ourselves in the midst of a storm, which, by its very nature, will pass over.
Richard Exley said it this way: “Only a fool would try to dig a storm cellar in the middle of a tornado.” I’ve witnessed that level of foolishness. I’ve seen families destroyed through impatience and overreaction. I’ve watched ministries sink because a leader panicked and pulled the plug. I’ve presided over the tragic funeral of a desperate man who couldn’t find a door, so he pulled a trigger. Hold on! Paul had a hundred chances to quit. Shipwrecked, disappointed, run out of town, stoned and left for dead – and that’s just the beginning. Paul spent years imprisoned, often without knowing when his case might be heard.
What could he do? Sometimes, he just held on. He wasn’t writing every day. He didn’t have visitors every day. At times, the most important missionary in the Bible sat still – alone – in a cell. Paul held fast in the darkness, and the Lord opened up bright new opportunities. This storm will pass. A new day is dawning. You’ll see His plan in time, if you just hold on.
