A New Normalنموونە

Day 20
By Acts 20, Paul has been beaten with rods, imprisoned, stoned, ridiculed and left for dead. But Paul didn’t demand justice. Why? Because he wanted his enemies to experience the love of God. His desire for people to experience the love of God included his enemies! I bet that between the screams of pain, he felt a deep sadness that all the scoffers, soldiers and hypocritical religious people were so far from the love of God.
True freedom says that regardless of your response to me, I will show you the love of God. I will show you the other cheek, walk the second mile and refuse to take justice by force. Rather, I will show mercy and grace.
God’s love is not just a feeling. It's the foundation. He created us out of love and left heaven because of love. His love put him to death and his love put death to death. Our New Normal is mercy, not revenge.
