Do not resist evil people who abuse you.
This is one of the commands I struggle the most with. It just seems wrong. That is evidence that the Lord still has work to do on conforming me to the image of Christ. It’s a good thing Jesus demonstrated this for us or else He wouldn’t have died on the cross.

Our lives should be characterized by what Jesus commanded and as His followers we should be getting others to love (and thus obey) Him as well. This is not optional or for extra credit. It is the very essence of what it means to be His follower. "...teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you..." This is what Kingdom Living is all about.
