If you’ve been to a nine-inning baseball game – you might be familiar with the seventh-inning stretch. 

It’s when the crowd stands up to stretch their legs and shake their arms before sitting back down. 

That’s sort of where we’re at in our reading – we’re beginning the seventh week, with just over two weeks remaining.  

We’ve covered four thousand years of biblical history in our reading so far. 

God is taking His time routing The Seed through human history. 

And we’re about to arrive at a major destination… but not the final destination.
