From Beginning to Endنموونە

This chapter is repetitive as the leader from each tribe of Israel brings a similar gift for the dedication of their new place of worship, which happens to be an elaborate tent. It’s a tent so it can move with the people as they are travelling.
Why would so much detail be provided in such an unvarying way? Perhaps it’s because God was pleased with each and every gift. If you give regularly to your church, it may not feel like God notices. This week’s offering looks like last week’s and next week will be the same, but God is worshipped and appreciates them all.

This is part one of a four-part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one story from beginning to end of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
