Expect The Extraordinaryنموونە

Expect vulnerability
God revealed the news of Jesus’ coming to a bunch of shepherds; poor and uneducated. He revealed it to the royal Majii too, but he saved the most glorious encounter – an angelic vision – for the unassuming shepherds.
Jesus himself came as a child. Naked, vulnerable, ignorant, unskilled and totally dependent. Devoid of any status.
How quickly we forget who our God really is and what his priorities are. And we fail to grasp how the life Jesus chose to be born into, upturns the very order of the world we live in.
May we love all the vulnerable and status-less of our world as if they were him. Because they might well have been 2,000 years ago. And he is certainly there among them now.
