Beyond the Christmas movies, nativity scenes, and gift promotions—it’s pretty safe to say that there’s a sense that there should be more to the Christmas season. There might be more to the Christmas story than the one we’re told. The Christmas story is one that we have to experience for ourselves.

This plan follows the prophecies about the Messiah and then the life of Jesus. During this advent season as MyLocal church, we want to look at the life of Jesus and his incredible message to humanity. We believe Jesus is the Messiah prophesied about in the Hebrew Bible: Emmanuel, 'God with us'. In this winter season we remember hope despite the circumstances.
