ئینجا یەشوعی کوڕی نون لە شەتیمەوە دوو سیخوڕی بە نهێنی نارد و گوتی: «بڕۆن تەماشای خاکەکە بکەن، بە تایبەتی ئەریحا.» ئەوانیش ڕۆیشتن و چوونە ماڵی ژنێکی لەشفرۆش کە ناوی ڕاحاب بوو، لەوێ مانەوە. بە پاشای ئەریحا گوترا: «بزانە، ئەمشەو دوو پیاوی نەوەی ئیسرائیل هاتوونەتە ئێرە هەتا سیخوڕی دەربارەی خاکەکە بکەن.» لەبەر ئەوە پاشای ئەریحا بەدوای ڕاحابدا ناردی و پێی گوت: «ئەو دوو پیاوەی کە هاتن بۆ لات و هاتنە ناو ماڵەکەت بیانهێنە دەرەوە، چونکە ئەوانە هاتوون بۆ ئەوەی سیخوڕی لەبارەی هەموو خاکەکەوە بکەن.» بەڵام ڕاحاب دوو پیاوەکەی بردبوو و شاردبوونییەوە و گوتی: «ڕاستە ئەو دوو پیاوە هاتنە لای من، بەڵام نەمزانی خەڵکی کوێن.
