Men must stand firm. When the world shifts and stands in contrast to the word of God, men must hold strong. This 30-day devotional plan will look at other men in the Bible who stood firm in difficult circumstances and will inspire us to be men who follow their example and lead our world toward Jesus Christ.

1 Samuel charts the rise and fall of several of Israel’s leaders. You’ll meet the notoriously arrogant king Saul and see the ascent of the man after God’s own heart – David. You’ll read of dangerous battles, murder plots, giants and even more surprises in this book.  You’ll see that despite turbulence in leadership, seemingly strong enemies and spiritual decay God is very much at work orchestrating the fall of the proud and the rise of the humble. What an encouragement for us today when we are faced with challenges not too dissimilar to these! 

Jesus is the Good Shepherd who provides everything we need. This 31-day devotional is centered on a passage of Scripture that has been a source of strength, peace, and comfort throughout the generations: Psalm 23. On each day of the journey through this beloved psalm, you’ll have an opportunity to reflect on the many ways Jesus shows us His love and goodness in our lives.
