Day 3: The Teacher Within

Scriptures:

“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” – John 14:26 NIV

1 Corinthians 2:10-12

John 16:13

Romans 8:14

Reflection:

We sometimes get carried away thinking wisdom and knowledge only come from degrees, experiences, books, articles, or endless research. But John 14:26 reminds us that the Holy Spirit is our greatest Teacher.

There have been moments in my kitchen when I heard clearly: “Add this. Remove that.” There have also been moments when the Holy Spirit told me to stay silent in conversations. I doubted sometimes, thinking, “Could this really be God?” But when I obeyed, I saw fruits—healing, peace, strength, and transformation.

The Holy Spirit is not only my Counselor but also my Teacher, my Helper, my Director—guiding me into all wisdom. Trusting Him means believing that His guidance is MORE than enough!

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I thank You. I’m so grateful for Your guidance— revealing the Father’s heart, interceding for me, and leading me in the way I should go. Quite the doubts, and guide me into Your truth today and always.

Journal Prompt:

1. Where have you felt the Holy Spirit nudging you, but hesitated because of fear or that “it didn’t make sense”?
2. How can you make room today to listen for His guidance?
3. Write down situations where you experienced the Holy Spirit’s leading and knew without a doubt, “THIS IS HIM.”
4. If you desire the gift of the Holy Spirit, say this prayer with me and believe in your heart:

Thank You, God, for sending the Advocate. I yield my life to You. Come, Holy Spirit, and dwell within me. I decrease and You increase. Help me be in tune with Your voice. I am Your living sacrifice. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Action Step:

Before one decision today, pause and ask: “Holy Spirit, what do You say?” Write down what you sense.
