Sowing the Seed of Your Destiny

What is a Seed? In spiritual terms, a seed is what you plant today to receive a harvest tomorrow. It is not just currency. A seed is anything you release into the service of God or humanity: your money, a kind word, voluntary work, the gift of your time, a word of comfort, or a word of counsel.

Your giving, which is your seed, makes you receive from God, and it profoundly impacts your destiny. Your seed controls and determines the course of your life because it activates the spiritual law of giving and receiving. You can count how many seeds are in an orange, but you cannot count how many oranges are in a seed. The harvest always dwarfs the seed.

In the right environment all seeds bear fruit, but you must be strategic. You would never plant a mango seed on a cemented floor because it is not fertile ground. Likewise, your spiritual seed must be planted, watered, and nurtured in the right environment to produce a maximum harvest. Look for the fertile soil—the places and people where your giving will meet a genuine need and advance God's Kingdom.

A Prayer of Sowing and Strategic Giving

Almighty God, thank You for the spiritual truth that the harvest always dwarfs the seed. I acknowledge today that my time, my talents, my resources, and even my kind words are not just things to be consumed, but valuable seeds to be planted for a greater harvest. I lift up to You the area of my life where I desperately need a harvest—[mention the area, e.g., wisdom, provision, healing, strong relationships]. Show me the corresponding seed You want me to sow today. Direct me to the fertile ground—the right people, the right service, or the right need—where my giving will best advance Your Kingdom and bring forth the maximum increase. Help me to be a strategic and willing sower, trusting that as I release my seed, I activate the spiritual law of giving and receiving. Amen.
