The third Person of the Godhead is the Holy Spirit of God. We see Him throughout the Bible always carrying out the will of God. We see Him at the beginning of creation, moving “upon the face of the waters.” We see Jesus speaking of Him in John 15, “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.”
One of His jobs is to dwell in us when we trust Christ as our Savior and are born again. The Holy Spirit gives us hope and peace in this life! 1 Corinthians says, ‘Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
As Christians, the Holy Spirit guides our lives and decisions by convicting us of wrongdoing and giving us peace about God's plan. Are you listening to the Holy Spirit as He guides you?
