2. What do you think God had in mind when He designed marriage — a contract, a covenant, or something even greater?

3. How does marriage make us holy, not just happy?

4. Do you believe marriage has a mission beyond companionship and romance? What do you think that mission is?

• Giving our lives for another is our highest calling. How does viewing marriage as a covenant instead of a contract change the way you think about commitment, forgiveness, and love?

• In marriage, “You don’t have to; you GET to!” In your own life, what would it look like to live out your faithfulness to God through the way you love your spouse — or prepare for marriage?
