DAY 20: Planning to Pray
REFLECT
What would change in your life if prayer became a planned, protected part of your day? How might your relationship with God deepen if you approached prayer with the same intentionality you give to other important commitments?
ACTION
Today, create your personal prayer plan. When - Choose a specific time (or times) each day you will set aside for prayer. Where - Identify a place where you can pray without distractions—whether it’s a favorite chair, a quiet room, or a walking route. How long - Decide on a realistic, sustainable amount of time to pray each day. Start small, if needed, and allow it to grow as prayer becomes a habit. Write down your plan and commit to following it for the next week. Consider sharing your plan with a friend or family member for encouragement and accountability.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for inviting me into a daily relationship with You. I’m grateful that my time in prayer is not just another task, but a life-giving connection with You. Strengthen my resolve to seek You daily, and let my relationship with You grow deeper as I make space for You in my schedule. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
About this Plan

The "Every Day Relationship" reading plan is a 21-day prayer and fasting devotional designed to help individuals cultivate a deeper, more consistent relationship with Jesus. Through daily engagement with Scripture, reflection, and community, this plan encourages participants to integrate their faith into everyday life, moving beyond a Sunday-only relationship with God. By exploring various prayer patterns and focusing on personal transformation, this devotional aims to strengthen spiritual growth and foster a supportive community of believers committed to living out their faith daily.
