Fruitful in Every Seasonনমুনা

Day 5: Rooted in Truth
Every one of us is rooted in something. For some, it’s the opinions of others. For others, it might be culture, fear, or even a doctor’s report. If we want to produce fruit in every season, we must be rooted in the truth of God’s Word.
In your infertility journey, it’s easy to feel pulled in many directions, by reports, advice, or fear. But being rooted in truth will help you stand firm in God’s promises and remain steady, even when life is uncertain.
Colossians 2:6–7 reminds us to let our roots grow down into Christ and to build our lives on Him so that our faith becomes strong and overflowing with thankfulness. Jeremiah 17:7–8 paints a similar picture of those who trust in the Lord as trees planted by the water—steady, fruitful, and flourishing even in drought.
These verses remind us that when we stay rooted in Christ, we can endure storms and still bear fruit. Deep roots take time and consistency to develop, but when they do, they keep you anchored in truth.
It’s easy to focus on the visible fruit of our lives, but what truly sustains us is what happens beneath the surface: our private time with God, our prayers, our worship, and our obedience to His Word. Many desire fruit but aren’t willing to invest in deep roots. But when you do, your faith grows strong, and your life becomes unshakable.
Personal Reflection: What have you been rooted in lately, the world or the Word? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you any areas where your roots need to go deeper in Him.
Activation:
Spend time in God’s presence this week, asking Him to reveal where your roots are shallow or misplaced. Commit to cultivating depth in your relationship with Him.
Declaration Statements:
I will follow Christ and let my roots grow deep into Him (Colossians 2:6–7).
As I put my trust and confidence in the Lord, I will be like a tree with deep roots that always produces fruit (Jeremiah 17:7–8).
Takeaway:
When I root myself deeply in God’s Word, I can stand firm through any storm and bear fruit in every season.
