FRESH OIL FOR A FRESH START

When new members are noticed in a congregation, they are usually called up for recognition. Something might have struck a chord with them during the service and one or two of them might have made up their minds to keep coming. Despite this, a follow-up is usually done by some designated members of that congregation to check up on them in person or by telephone conversations. This will strengthen the resolve of those who want to keep coming and might even convince the others to keep coming. That is the power of follow-ups. It strengthens.

Exaltation is usually followed up with anointing. When God exalted David from being a shepherd boy to becoming a King, he was anointed by the prophet Samuel. Every exaltation needs a fresh anointing from God to strengthen it. An exaltation without anointing will not last because there will be no unction to function in that new assignment. It is good that God has decided to favour you but you too need to also play your part by seeking His face for fresh oil. If God truly has called you into a new position, He definitely has an assignment for you there but you cannot achieve it on your own. You need His anointing to carry out that assignment.

Remember, God does not deal with the already qualified; those who boast in their wisdom and strength. God will rather qualify those who He chooses by anointing them for the task. This anointing is what portrays 'the chosen' as 'the perfect choice'. Have you been exalted unto a new position or level in life? You need a follow-up FRESH OIL FOR A FRESH START.
