HE WILL SHOW YOU THINGS THAT ARE 'FENCED IN'

"Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know, do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand." – Jeremiah 33:3, AMPC

The third promise of God to those who call upon Him is to 'fence in' the things shown to them. This may sound like it is a restriction, but the real meaning here is 'fenced in to protect'. These truths are freely available. They are waiting to be discovered and revealed to those who diligently seek the Lord! They are hidden, fenced in like a treasure. They are precious spiritual jewels and have to be sought out.

For many, their times with the Lord consist of reading a verse from the Bible and then praying for their felt needs. However, here is a promise to you: there is much more to be discovered! What will it require of you? Pausing a little longer than usual during your time with God, not hurrying to the next appointment. Put aside all social media and mobile devices when spending time with Him, making room for uninterrupted, regular time alone in His presence. Enough for you to become still enough that you can hear His voice. This is His invitation to you!

PRAY

Lord, my heart is filled with a deep desire to know You more and to hear Your voice. Help me to no longer be content with what I see on the surface. Draw me into the secret places where Your mysteries are hidden for those who seek You.
