Final Day
You are being pruned like a tree. God is cutting off the dead branches in your life: the things that do not please Him and prevent you from having intimacy with Him. Being melted down and having these kinds of spiritually-dead things removed from you isn’t fun, but the result of what it produces—growth and purity—surpasses the pain that you’ve gone through. So are you going to complain? Or are you going to trust God and endure these growing pains? Remember, what the devil sent for destruction, God can use for His glory, but you must trust Him.
How can I speak so confidently on these topics? It’s because God is walking me through them. It’s painful. Growing pains are the worst. You are not alone. However, the joy of overcoming all of this in Jesus’ name will surpass any feeling of pain you’ve ever had. Never give up. God is with you. He has a plan for you. He loves you.
