God’s Word Over Life’s Stressনমুনা

When Stress Comes Crashing In
Stress can come in many forms, like divorce, the loss of a loved one, job loss, financial worries, health issues, work pressure, relationship struggles, or housing instability. I live in Florida, and here there’s even the added stress of hurricanes. Some have even moved away because of the constant worry over storms.
For me, stress often hides in plain sight. People around me may not notice it, and honestly, sometimes I don’t notice it either, though my wife always does (I feel like she can tell when I’m stressed just by the way I drink coffee!). The truth is, my biggest mistake has been ignoring my stress instead of recognizing it and bringing it to the Lord.
“We can never know who or what we are till we know at least something of what God is.”
- A. W. Tozer
The good news? God cares about every burden you carry. He invites us to cast it all on Him because He truly sustains and gives peace that nothing else can.
Respond to God’s Word:
Write down one source of stress you’ve been carrying and pray through Philippians 4:6-7, asking God to exchange your anxiety for His peace.
