Sprinkle of Confetti Devotionalনমুনা

Devotional:
Self-control is like flying a kite on a windy day. It means choosing the right thing even when it’s hard. It’s about thinking before acting and staying calm with God’s help. Sometimes, your feelings want to be the boss.
You want to yell instead of using kind words. You want to hit when you’re mad instead of walking away. God gives us the Holy Spirit to help us grow in self-control.
And every time you use it, your heart gets stronger and more like Jesus.
That's self-control.
Family Action/Activity:
How can you be brave and show self-control today? Create a"Pause & Pray Plan" for when someone feels upset or out of control; they can say, “Pause and Pray!” Then they stop what they’re doing, take a deep breath, and say a short prayer like…” Jesus, help me calm down and make a good choice.”
Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank you for loving me and giving me your Spirit. Please help me to stop and think before I speak or act. Even when I feel angry, excited, or tempted, please help me choose what is right. Grow self-control in my heart so I can be more like Jesus.
Amen.
