The Living Sacrifice and a “Pleasant Aroma” to the Lord
The living sacrifice is an offering of total surrender to God. In Leviticus 1:9, we see that burnt offerings had a “pleasing aroma to the Lord.” Christ’s sacrifice on the cross was a perfect and sweet fragrance (Ephesians 5:2).
Our life should be a continuous sacrifice of praise and obedience. When we seek to please God in everything, our life becomes a fragrance pleasing to Him.
Living as a living sacrifice means prioritizing God in all areas, rejecting sin, and pursuing holiness. This is reflected in our character, attitudes, and daily choices.
