Fatherless No More: Discovering God’s Father-Heartনমুনা

Day 4: Living as Sons and Daughters
When you receive God’s love, your identity changes. You are no longer an orphan; you are a son or daughter of the King. That identity gives you confidence, security, and purpose.
As a son, I no longer had to live for approval; I could live from approval. I didn’t need to prove my worth through performance; I could rest in who God said I was. This shift from striving to sonship changed my relationships, my choices, and my outlook on life.
Living as a child of God doesn’t remove life’s challenges, but it transforms how you face them. You walk with the assurance that your Father is with you, loves you, and has good plans for your future.
This is the inheritance of every believer: freedom, belonging, and purpose as children of God.
Reflect
Where are you still living like an orphan and striving for approval or fearing rejection? How can you choose to live from your identity as God’s child this week?
Pray
Father, thank You for calling me Your child. Help me live with confidence in Your love, free from striving and fear. In Your name I pray. Amen.
About this Plan

So many people grow up without a present, loving father, and the ache of that absence can last a lifetime. But God, our perfect Father, invites us to know Him personally, to be healed from the wounds of fatherlessness, and to walk in the full identity of His children. In this five-day devotional, drawn from his book, Fatherless No More, Tim Johnson shares his personal journey of healing and reveals how you can experience the Father’s love for yourself. No matter what your past looks like, you can live free, whole, and secure as God’s beloved child.
