The Extra Mile: A 5-Day Devotional on Finding Faith and Purpose by Evan Craftনমুনা

Day 4: Miracles in the Mundane
Most of my 1,000 mile ride through the Andes wasn’t glamorous. It was more long, dusty roads. It was hunger, aching muscles, broken equipment, and unexpected detours. It was mile after difficult mile.
But looking back, in the difficulty is where I saw the hand of God most clearly.
There were lots of miracles - like a flat tire being fixed just in time, funds coming in right when we needed them, a teammate finding purpose again and hearts being changed at concerts across South America.
One of the biggest surprises through it all was how powerfully God moved through our ordinary obedience. We weren’t perfect. We just kept showing up. Kept pedaling. Kept worshiping. God did the rest.
It turns out, that’s how He works. Not always in lightning bolts, but in simple faithfulness. He multiplies our yes each and every time.
The Extra Mile Challenge: What small act of obedience is God asking from you today? Are you willing to say yes and trust Him with the results?
