From Striving to Surrender: A Journey From Head Knowledge to Heart Acceptanceনমুনা

Day 4–Love That Never Ceases
The prodigal son story paints a picture of the Father’s love in such a powerful way. The son had disrespected his father, squandered his inheritance, and made a mess of his life. Yet when he came home, the father ran to him. This was not culturally expected. Men of that age and standing did not run. But love does not keep to protocol.
In the same way, God’s love is not reluctant, either. Lamentations 3 says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV).
You may feel like you have used up your chances or that you've just got so bogged down with the rest of life that you don't see a way back. But His mercy is renewed daily. His compassion does not run dry.
Even when you feel weary of yourself, God’s love remains constant. You will never hear Him say, “Enough is enough.” Instead, you'll hear Him say, “Come home.”
Acceptance means waking up each day knowing you are still loved. No matter what happened yesterday, His mercy is fresh today. In fact, His mercy is fresh with each and every moment.
Let this truth sink in: His love is steadfast, His mercy is endless, His faithfulness is great. And you are His.

About this Plan

Many women live under the weight of doing more, being more, and achieving more, even in their walk with God. We try to understand His love as if it must be earned or explained, yet His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways. This 4-day devotional invites the multi-responsible, high-achieving woman to step out of striving and into surrender. Through reflections and Scripture, you'll move from head knowledge to heart acceptance, living as God’s friend in gratitude, honesty, and trust.
