Sensational Shalomনমুনা

Your peace matters to God!
Do you know the movie PK? It was one of the first Bollywood movies I ever watched, and I could totally relate to it! When I first moved to India, I often felt completely alien, trying to understand all the dynamics of culture, traditions, and religions.
One of the funniest scenes is when PK hilariously explains the different meanings of the word “acha”–and it’s so true!
Similarly, the word "shalom" in the Bible has many meanings. We often translate it as "peace," which includes:
- Peace between nations (Revelation 6:4).
- Peace between people (Ephesians 4:3).
- The path of peace, our salvation (Luke 1:78-79).
- Eternal rest (R.I.P) (Isaiah 57:2).
- Peace as a greeting, as in “peace be with you” or “peace upon this house” (John 20:19 and Luke 10:5).
God desires peace for His children on every level:
- Peace between the nations of the world and peace in your own heart.
- Peace while you’re alive and peace when you die.
- Peace when you’re at home and peace when you go out.
Friend, your peace matters to God! He is the Lord of peace and wants to fill you with it entirely (2 Thessalonians 3:16). Jesus says to you today:
“Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” - John 20:21 NIV
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect, heavenly peace that transcends all understanding. I receive it today in Jesus’ name, amen.
Hey! You are a Chamatkar.
