Jesus Is…Infinitely Gloriousনমুনা

Day 4 - Jesus is…Our Redeemer.
Isaiah 44:22 and Psalm 130:7 (ESV)
Devotional: Isaiah 44:22 (ESV) declares, "I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you." He has redeemed you. Pause for a moment and meditate on this profound truth: "The Lord has redeemed me." Our sins, which often entangle and weigh us down, are like mist, and our transgressions are erased like clouds. He is the redeemer of everything. Psalm 130:7 (ESV) declares, "O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption." Truly, abundant redemption comes from the Lord—redemption filled with unwavering love! The Lord sees the world's broken state and knows we need a Savior. Jesus, our Redeemer, lived a perfect, sinless life amid this brokenness and sacrificed Himself by dying on the cross, accepting a criminal's death. He rose three days later, defeating death so that, through Him and His sacrifice, all can be saved. That truly is a Redeemer. Now, as our Redeemer, He sits at the Lord's right hand, advocating for us. The one who died for us offers redemption for you, drenched with steadfast love.
Prayer: Jesus, You continue to redeem me even when I sin. You turn the sins that entangle me into mist because of Your forgiveness. Remind me when I forget that You have redeemed and freed me from the weight of sin and death.
