There’s More Going On Than You Can See

I remember when I first surrendered my heart to Christ… there were moments I felt completely blindsided by opposition. I’d be doing well one day—focused, peaceful, moving forward—and the next day, out of nowhere, I’d feel like I was under attack.

You see, it wasn’t until I began to understand spiritual warfare that things finally clicked—I wasn’t just dealing with random problems. I was in a battle I couldn’t see with my eyes.

The Bible is clear—we’re engaged in a spiritual war. While that might sound intense, it’s not something to be afraid of. In fact, it’s something we can be equipped for! God doesn’t leave us defenseless. He gives us the armor we need to stand, and He reminds us we’re never fighting alone.

Maybe you’ve felt like everything is coming against you lately. Perhaps you’re battling discouragement, fear, anxiety, or temptation. Let me remind you—what you see isn’t all there is. There’s a very real spiritual world, and you have a very real enemy. Yet more importantly—you have a victorious Savior. You can stand strong, not because of your own strength, but because of His.

Friend, because of the cross, we don’t fight for victory… we fight from victory!

● What does it mean to me?

● How can I apply what God is teaching me?

● How can I be specific in prayer today?

After you reflect on these questions, bring everything to God in prayer.
