Father Cry: Healing the Heart of a Generationনমুনা

Day 4: Becoming the Answer to Someone’s Cry
You don’t have to be a perfect person to become a spiritual parent. You just have to show up with love.
Throughout Scripture we see the power of mentorship and spiritual parenting. Paul had Timothy. Naomi had Ruth. Elijah had Elisha. Each relationship carried deep meaning and helped shape the future of the faith.
Today many young people are longing for guidance, identity, and stability, but they don’t know where to find it. You may be the one God is calling to step in.
This isn’t about titles or platforms. It’s about presence. Encouragement. Time. Listening. It’s about speaking life into someone who feels forgotten.
I challenge you to look around. Who’s nearby that might need your presence? Start with prayer, then move toward relationship. You might just be the answer to someone’s cry for a spiritual parent.
About this Plan

Every generation longs to be known, seen, and loved, especially by a father. In this five-day devotional, drawn from my book Father Cry, I invite you into a journey of healing from parental wounds, discovery of God’s perfect Father-love, and encouragement to become a spiritual parent for the next generation.
