BE THE LIGHT IN A WORLD CRYING FOR TRUTH

What’s the point of having the Spirit of God within us—a relationship with the Father who heals the sick and makes the blind see—if we fail to recognize the sickness, blindness, and hurt in the people around us? The Devil has pulled one of his greatest cons. He knows he can’t extinguish the light of Christ, so instead, he’s convinced the world that the darkness is light.

What do you see when you look at the people around you? Do you feel compassion for them? Do you see their pain? Do you realize you have the power to help them?

Sometimes it starts with something as simple as prayer. Are you praying for your friends? When you see someone lost in their identity or struggling with lies they’ve been told their entire life, does it stir you to action? Does it make you mad at the Devil, knowing he’s deceiving and destroying lives?

Your friends might seem happy, but the truth is, many are drowning. And if you’re standing on flimsy truths, holding back the eternal power of God within you, you’re doing the opposite of what Jesus called us to be. We are meant to be light bearers, bringing hope and truth into the darkness.

AN ANCHOR FOR THE STORM

We are called to jump into the torrents of the ocean to rescue those who are drowning—but we must be anchored to the truth that cannot be moved. When the world screams for you to untie yourself and join them, you can stand firm and say, “My mind will not be changed.”

Why? Because there are too many people hurting. Too many lives are at stake. The world doesn’t need more people going along with the current. It needs people anchored in truth, extending lifelines to those who are desperate for hope.

KNOW WHERE JESUS STANDS

Do you know where Jesus stands? Do you know what the Bible teaches? It’s not enough to feel; you need to know the truth and get it in your heart.

Will you watch people suffer and simply empathize?

Or will you shake the gates of hell with compassion, rescuing people from the lies that are destroying them?

THE CALL TO ACTION

Maybe tonight is the night you start a journey of discovering the truth. You’ve been following Jesus, but you know you’ve been deceived in some areas. It’s time to realign with Him, to follow His lead of compassion, and to pray fervently for those who need Him.

Or maybe you’re the one who’s hurting. You’ve fallen in with the crowd to find your place, but deep inside, you know you’re drowning. Jesus is here to save you. You have a choice: to live by fleeting emotions or by the eternal truth of God.

Jesus has better for you—better than what the world offers, better than the lies you’ve believed. We were all drowning once, and Jesus didn’t leave us there. He lifted us out and set our feet on solid ground.

LET GOD INTO YOUR HEART

It’s time to allow God into your heart. Put aside your preferences and desires because His ways are so much better. If you’re going to follow Him, don’t turn back when challenges arise.

There is nowhere else for eternal life but in Jesus. Turn on your torch. Shine your light. Pray for the light. Be the light. The world is waiting, and you hold the truth that can set them free.
