Close Enough to Change: Experiencing the Transformative Power of Jesusনমুনা

Day 2 | Get to Know Jesus
Jesus uses the image of the vine and branches to describe our relationship with him. If we’re the branches, he’s the vine—and without a connection to him, we can’t bear fruit.
Abiding in Jesus means being deeply rooted in his presence, allowing his life to flow through us. We don't stay rooted by trying harder or doing more. The more we abide in Jesus, the more our hearts are aligned with his, and the more we begin to reflect his love, grace, and truth in everything we do.
It’s easy to get distracted by the demands of life. Abiding means making a conscious decision to stay grounded in Jesus, no matter what’s happening around us. When we make abiding a priority, we begin to experience the evidence of the Spirit's work in our lives.
Reflect
What areas of your life do you need to stay more connected to Jesus?
How do you see the fruit of abiding in your life?
