Heart for the House নমুনা

David sent kindness, but he received humiliation in return. Have you ever tried to be generous, only to have your kindness misunderstood or rejected? It’s easy to become guarded, to stop giving when we feel burned. But true generosity isn’t about getting the right response—it’s about reflecting God’s heart. Even when people reject us, we can still choose to give, knowing that our generosity is ultimately for the Lord.
Has past rejection made you hesitant to give, whether your time, resources, or kindness? Ask God to help you give freely, trusting him with the outcome.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to be generous even when it’s hard. I don’t want to hold back because of past disappointments. Teach me to give with a heart like Yours, knowing that my generosity reflects your love. Amen.

About this Plan

David was able to set the stage for Solomon to build the temple by providing the victories for Solomon to have peace in the land, provision, and a launch pad for the new season to come. There are lessons in this for us today! For our future generations to see victory, it will take us fighting the battles now, and generously supporting God's plans to come! Join us through 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles and be inspired by how you can be setting the next generation up for victory.
