Day 13: Job – Strength to Trust When Life Falls Apart
Scripture: Job 1:13-22; Job 19:25-27
Key Verse: “I know that my Redeemer lives and that in the end, He will stand on the earth.” – Job 19:25
Job lost everything in a short period. His wealth, health, and children were gone in an instant. His friends assumed he must have done something wrong, and even his wife told him to give up. Yet despite his deep grief and unanswered questions, Job held onto one truth: “I know that my Redeemer lives.”
Trusting God in suffering isn’t about ignoring pain; it’s about clinging to Him through it. Job wrestled with his grief but never let go of his faith. Ultimately, God restored him, but the greatest reward was not his earthly blessings but the more profound understanding of God’s sovereignty and goodness.
When life feels like it’s crumbling, remember that your Redeemer lives. He is faithful, even when we don’t understand His ways.
Prayer Focus: Pray for the strength to trust God in seasons of suffering, knowing He is still reasonable and in control.

About this Plan

Jesus told us that our weariness comes from carrying a burden that is too heavy for us. Instead, we are supposed to give our problems, cares, and concerns to Him and allow Him to give us the strength to do what He asks. He will teach us to do this over the next 30 days because He is humble and gentle at heart. God's word will show us examples of people throughout scripture who put their burdens in His hands and found rest for their souls.
