One Another: Loving the Bodyনমুনা

Christ as the Head
Ephesians 4:15-16 tells us, "Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." Christ is the head of the church, guiding and directing us in all things. Our unity and purpose are found in Him.
Reflect on your relationship with Christ. Are you allowing Him to lead and guide you? Consider how you can align your actions and decisions with His will. As you do, you will find that your life becomes a reflection of His love and grace. Pray for the strength to submit to His leadership. Trust that He knows the best path for you and the church.
Going Deeper
The headship of Christ underscores His sovereignty and authority over the church. As believers, we are called to submit to His lordship, recognising that our identity and mission are rooted in His redemptive work. This submission is not passive but an active participation in His kingdom's purposes. Colossians 1:18 affirms, "And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent."
This plan is based on a sermon preached by Pastor Sam Bricknell.
