Five Simple Steps for an Extraordinary New Yearনমুনা

Do Justly
The passage in Micah 6 clarifies that we need to look to God for our direction and receive from Him what He offers us. But the passage doesn't stop there. It says that God has told us three things that we must do in order to walk in faithfulness to His desire for us. It is a general prescription for how we should live that will put us on a pathway of God's favor. There are three specific ways we must posture ourselves to live broadly according to God's will. If we do these things, life may not be without struggles, but we will have a life of God's favor and blessing.
The first of these postures for life is to "do justly." Another way this phrase is translated is to "do justice" or "act justly." God is a just God. His anger is kindled against injustice, and His Kingdom is characterized by justice. The term "just" is defined as "based on or behaving according to what is morally right and fair." Justice is the actions based on what is just, morally right, and fair. One of the foundation stones for an exceptional year (or life) is to do or act by what is just. This would eradicate any of our society's "isms."
Justice solves racism, sexism, ageism, or whatever "ism" there may be. When we "do justly" or act in a just manner, then we have taken a vital step toward an exceptional year. To live in a morally right and fair manner, treating others according to what is just, we are setting the stage for an exceptional year!
