Day 10: The Power of Obedience
Focus Scripture:
“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” – Isaiah 1:19
Trusting God’s timing and plan is important, but so is obeying His commands. It’s not enough to simply be willing, we must also practice consistent obedience.
Obedience is the master key that unlocks the favor that we might otherwise overlook or miss. When we align ourselves with His will and follow His instructions, we position ourselves to receive the fullness of what He has planned for us.
Through obedience, we stay in God’s will. Through disobedience, we land outside of God’s will—and that’s a spiritually dangerous place to be. Your obedience to God will yield more than disobedience ever could. If you want to experience unimaginable, consistent favor, obsess yourself with obeying God.
Trusting God’s timing is crucial, but it’s our obedience that allows His promises to manifest in our lives.
Reflection Prompt:
- In what area has God called you to obedience?
- What blessings might you be missing out on by delaying obedience?
Call to Action:
Choose one area where you’ve been hesitant to obey and take a step of action in faith today.
