Happily Ever After: And Everything Beforeনমুনা

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT BELOW
Have you ever wondered if God understands how you feel? Sure, maybe God knows you’re angry about something, but does God really know? When we look back to the very beginning—like the very, very, very beginning of time—there’s a truth that can help us find the answer. In the very first book of the Bible, we’re told that all of us are created in the image of God. Maybe you’ve heard this before, so it might sound simple at first glance. But if you think about it, this is a huge deal. It tells us so much about who we are and who God is. We’re created to be like God, which means the emotions we experience aren’t just a reflection of us. They’re a reflection of the God who made us! Not only does God know our feelings, but God understands them. The fact that we’re made in God’s image means that we can trust that God sees, understands, and empathizes with all that we might feel.
This week, take time to share your feelings with God. As you do, thank God that you’re made in God’s image and that means God always gets what you’re dealing with and feeling in this life.
