3 Days of Vino Vacay to Enjoy a Sober Minded Weekendনমুনা

Pre-plan
Have you ever tried to make a habit change and then you realize in the moment of temptation you’re unprepared? God’s Word reminds us of the importance of having a vision of the future, a direction, and a plan. In fact, when walking in victory, direction always matters more than speed. You’ve got to know where you’re going- literally and figuratively- if you expect to get anywhere. What makes this seem so difficult? Let’s be honest…even when we find ourselves veering in the wrong direction, it can be hard to course correct. The familiar feels good in the moment and change is absolutely going to feel uncomfortable.
When you’re trying to break away from the world’s status quo and live a life set apart it can feel daunting. It certainly is in our own efforts but through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are infused with inner strength. Oftentimes we might feel defeated when we don’t have a “game plan" because the current of the status quo can pull us towards what’s familiar. If your goal is to be more present and sober minded in your own life, you’re going to need to plan ahead. We live in a culture that promotes and encourages so many ways to “numb out” and miss out on a life of presence. If our enemy prowls around like a lion looking for who is vulnerable, alone, or ill-prepared then it is wise to plan ahead how you will handle situations and stay connected to others who are doing the same!
About this Plan

In this 3 day Bible plan, I’ll take you through the importance of the 3 P’s of a sober minded weekend. It all begins with pre-deciding our choices in advance and then we see how God rewards our planning ahead. We can use our past experiences as a helpful tool to “play the movie forward”, make healthy choices, and live fully in the present.
