More to the Storyনমুনা

Reading the Bible can feel intimidating sometimes. But one simple way of studying Scripture is called S.O.A.P. It stands for "Scripture," "Observation," "Application," and "Prayer." We'll show you how—it's easy!
S: Scripture
If you haven't already, read today's passage of Scripture. Then, summarize it in your own words.
O: Observation
Read Galatians 3:23–29 again.
- How does it describe the change that happens in our lives because of Jesus?
- What does it teach us about the story God is writing?
- What questions do you still have?
A: Application
- How would you describe being clothed with Christ?
- The work of Jesus undoes all the harmful parts of our stories. What promise can you trust because of this?
- What's something you've felt locked up by in the past? What would it look like to free yourself of that today?
P: Prayer
Spend some time in prayer about the story God is writing in your life. Ask God to help you let go of things of the past and embrace the promise available to you through Jesus. Then say thank you for the promise of blessing available to you as a child of God.

About this Plan

God's story is not a story meant to be put away on a shelf somewhere, but it's one we're meant to explore and experience because we're deeply connected to it. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll take a look at the story of God and see how we can make a difference in our communities because we know there's more to the story.
