Restartনমুনা

Reading the Bible can feel intimidating sometimes. But one simple way of studying Scripture is called S.O.A.P. It stands for "Scripture," "Observation," "Application," and "Prayer." We'll show you how—it's easy!
S: Scripture
If you haven't already, read today's passage of Scripture. Then summarize it in your own words.
O: Observation
Read Psalm 40:1–3 again.
- What stands out to you?
- What does it teach us about God's desire to help us?
- What questions do you still have?
A: Application
- What's one way you're struggling to get unstuck?
- What does this passage invite you to do differently?
- What do you think could change if you were to ask God for guidance?
P: Prayer
Spend some time in prayer about an area in which you need guidance. Ask God to help you pinpoint the changes necessary to get unstuck. Then, say thank you for how God has guided you in the past.

About this Plan

In video games, when you face challenges and make mistakes there's always the option to start over. In real life, it's not so easy to recover, but Jesus gives us a chance to restart — no matter how difficult our circumstances. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll look at people who needed God's help to give them a restart and discover how to trust God's promises.
