Strength for the Journey

Beautiful things happen at the beginning of life journeys, but sometimes we need the reminder that we have the strength in Him to do what is necessary for the next steps of our lives. Our lives, though they happen as quickly as a vapor, are a marathon that we are called to complete. What we need to fully accomplish His purpose for our lives it is strength for the journey.

Your affirmation today is to be strong and courageous. Not one or the other, but both. When your knees buckle at the intimidation of what’s before you, God is going to provide you the strength by His Spirit to bring it into reality. When your fears attempt to intimidate you out of your call and your promise, God is going to provide you the courage to stand strong in the midst of those fears to keep pressing forward.

You are stronger than you think because the strength is not yours! Through Him, you can and will do anything. Today, you have strength from heaven for the journey!

Father, today we thank You for the strength to start and to stay consistent in this journey called life. We are empowered by You to fulfill every call, promise, and purpose that You created us for. In the face of our fears, we chose to trust You with our today and our tomorrow. You are our Strong God, and for that we are thankful. Amen!
