Relationships According to the Book of Ruth নমুনা

DAY 14: Consider Others.
In the world we live in today, we are taught to only think of ourselves. We’re taught to do everything for our own gain, “just look out for yourself”. The world we live in today is actually very selfish.
In the book of Ruth, we see how Naomi is considered the best for Ruth. Naomi, whose name changed to Mara, showing how bitter she was after all the tough times she went through, could have easily only wanted Ruth for herself and not wanting to share Ruth with anyone. Despite what Naomi was going through, she helped Ruth and continually prayed for her.
On the other hand, we also see Ruth having the best interests at heart for Naomi by choosing her people, her hometown and her God. At the end of chapter 4, we also see how Ruth gives birth to a son Naomi nursed, making sure that Naomi's lineage continued, which was also the lineage of Jesus.
They both had the best interest at heart for each other.
Challenge yourself today and answer these questions:
Are you considering others?
What can you do practically to keep others' interests at heart?
