Bricklayers 4নমুনা

Sanballat and Tobiah, 2 men who are bullies, try to divert the plan to rebuild the wall. Insults were shouted. Jokes were made. What was Nehemiah’s response? He turned to God in prayer. When someone insults you, what do you do? Throw an insult back? Keep your cool and walk away? Nehemiah stopped, turned to God, and prayed. He knew he couldn’t respond in his own strength. He knew he wanted to fire back. But he prayed.
As he prayed, he and the Jewish people stayed on task. They weren’t going to allow outside voices to sway their inward conviction. I can imagine the scene. Men spitting out insult after insult and the Jewish people responding with a crack of a smile and then turning back to their work spreading mortar and laying bricks.
Next time you face opposition, will you turn to Jesus in prayer? Will you stay true to the conviction Jesus has given you? The enemy will not go away.
About this Plan

After 70 years of exile, the Jewish people return to Israel to build back what was torn down. How does he rebuild it? How did he recruit, train, and empower the Jewish people?
