Wisdom From Jamesনমুনা

Trust the Source of Life
Pride and trust in wealth produce desires like cheating, selfishness, indulgence, and ripping people off to obtain a better deal. James addresses the issue of the love of wealth and self-reliance. He makes it clear that these will not give you eternal life.
Living a life that trusts in God and his provision can seem unrealistic, but faith trusts and stays close to God’s purposes and plans.
Today if you are challenged by this, I want to encourage you to put your pride aside (the self-made person in attitude and resources), trust in worldly wealth and desires (which can lead to cheating, etc.), and fix your eyes on Jesus, who cares for you and your every need in life. This is an attitude shift towards our source of life.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your provision in my life. Deliver me from worldly thinking and attitudes towards wealth so that my faith is always in you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
