True Words Can Be Yummy When you disagree with someone, you might feel angry or uncomfortable inside. You might want to use yucky words—like calling names or telling someone they’re not very smart. Don’t use those yucky words! Pray. Ask God to help you calm down and give you yummy words, instead. Yummy words are “full of grace” and “seasoned with salt.” That means they’re kind, patient, and loving. When you choose to listen respectfully and let your conversation be seasoned with salt, God can use your words to lead people to trust Jesus: the One who is always true.
