This generation gets a lot of flak for being obsessed with their phones and obsessed with social media. But this season will expose how much we crave relationship with others, and ultimately how much we need Jesus. We have been created for relationship. The Bible tells us that we were created in the image of God with eternal longings in our hearts. In a season of isolation, we need to hear that we were not made to be alone. In the middle of our chaos, God sent Jesus to save the world. 1. Check your heart. Where are you at with Jesus? Do you love Him and follow Him? You were made to know Him. 2. Surrender to Jesus. If you haven’t stepped into a relationship, then now is the time to confess and believe in Jesus. We can be confident in Him. 3. Seek to share Jesus. Our salvation isn’t just about going to heaven when we die, but about the salvation that God works in our lives today. We can have hope for today through Jesus and the Gospel. You were not created to be alone. Don’t isolate to your thoughts or entertainment, but draw near to God and know that He will draw near to you. Encourage a friend, send them a note, and encourage them to find hope in Jesus.
