Psalms in 30 Days

DAY 12 OF 30

## Morning Prayer: Call to Prayer (read Colossians 3:1) Confession of Faith We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. Nicene Creed Canticle (read Exodus 15:1-6, 11-13, 17-18) Read Morning Psalms 62 and 63 Gloria Glory be to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever, world without end. Pray: The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) Intercessions and Personal Requests Prayer of the Church O God, who by the glorious resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light: Grant that we, who have been raised with him, may abide in his presence and rejoice in the hope of eternal glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be dominion and praise for ever and ever. The Book of Common Prayer Blessing (read Ephesians 3:20-21) ## Midday Prayer: Call to Prayer (read Habakkuk 2:20) Read Midday Psalms 64 and 67 Gloria Glory be to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever, world without end. Pray: The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) Blessing (read Psalm 33:22) ## Evening Prayer: Call to Prayer (read Hebrews 9:24) Confession of Sin Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Canticle (read 1 Corinthians 5:7-8; Romans 6:9-11; 1 Corinthians 15:20-22) Read Psalms 65 and 66 Gloria Glory be to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever, world without end. Pray: The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) Intercessions and Personal Requests Prayer of the Church O God of my exodus, Great was the joy of Israel’s sons when Egypt died upon the shore, Far greater the joy when the Redeemer’s foe lay crushed in the dust! Jesus strides forth as the victor, conqueror of death, hell, and all opposing might; He bursts the bands of death, tramples the powers of darkness down, and lives forever. He, my gracious surety, apprehended for payment of my debt, comes forth from the prison house of the grave free, and triumphant over sin, Satan, and death. Show me the proof that his vicarious offering is accepted, that the claims of justice are satisfied, that the devil’s scepter is shivered, that his wrongful throne is leveled. Give me the assurance that in Christ I died, in him I rose, in his life I live, in his victory I triumph, in his ascension I shall be glorified. The Valley of Vision Blessing The Lord Almighty grant us a peaceful night and a perfect end. Amen.
