Christ's Example

Christ was the perfect example of sacrifice and that is why we look to Him when considering how it looks to sacrifice for our family and our spouse. This passage makes it clear that true love and sacrifice makes the decision for the best interest of the other person, even when they don't deserve it; especially when they don't deserve it! Love isn't powerful if it only rewards those that deserve it - its power lies in it being unconditional.
